Snowshoe Anyone?

The Wellness Department is looking to add new lifestyle physical activities to the curriculum, and needs your help! We are asking for snow shoe donations to start a snowshoeing unit in Physical Education.

Why snowshoeing? This activity is a lifestyle activity that can be done throughout the years, is low impact, and a great way to get outside during those long winter months! It utilizes cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, and balance. Students are learning that being physically active does not require traditional team sport participation; they can be physically fit in a variety of ways!

We ask that if you have snowshoes to donate for students, please bring them in to the front office!
