Monday, November 7, is the first day of Quarter 2 at MHS. Be sure to check your Campus Portal for your new schedule.
Reminder to 9th grade Knowledge Bowl Participants –The 1st invitational is on Monday 11/7 at RTR. You need to be at the MHS gym entrance by 4:50pm to load the bus. You must have your online activities registration completed to be eligible to compete in this invitational. They are offering concessions, so you can bring money if you choose to.
The MHS Concert choir will be traveling to Luverne for the Big South Choral Festival on Monday, November 7. The performance is at 6:30. You can watch it live here: https://www.youtube.com/luvernecardinalvision
There will be a Born to Be Alive/Yellow Ribbon meeting on Tuesday at 11:30 in Student Services. Please attend if you are a part of the group. This meeting is important!
There will be a BPA Meeting on Tuesday, November 8. New members still welcome. Come to Room A154 either at 11 or 11:30. Contest sign up and prep begin.
Good luck to the 19 swimmers and divers who have qualified for the Section swim meet on November 10th & 12th this week!
Are you interested in government and politics? Do you want to make your voice heard? If so, the Marshall YOUTH IN GOVERNMENT team may be for you! The Youth in Government Conference is at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul and our Marshall team will attend. To learn more, attend the interest meeting this Thursday, November 10 at 11:35 in Mr. Purrington’s room A252.
Attention students! The link to order your yearbook for the 2022-2023 school year is now open! Please remember that we are a fall delivery book. You must reserve your copy now and the book will be delivered to the school next fall. We do this to include spring sports and graduation. Orders can be placed at www.marshallyearbook.com.

The MHS Honor Society is proud to offer an opportunity for all students and staff to VOTE in the MHS Mock Election on Monday! Voting is open before school, during lunch, and after school in the cafeteria hallway.
Cookie Wednesday: Tiger’s Den is open every day after school but cookies are only on Wednesday’s. Stop in for an after school treat.
There will be a Robotics Team meeting on Wednesday, November 9 at 11:00 in the athletic conference room. Students are welcome to join at any time!
There will be a Speech Interest meeting on Thursday at 2:45 in A257.
Boys in grades 9 through 12 interested in trying out for basketball. There will be an informational meeting Thursday after school in the High School Cafeteria. If you cannot, make the meeting on Thursday. Please stop by the Weight Room on Monday or Tuesday after school to sign up with Coach Carroll.
The MHS Honor Society has organized activities for MHS to recognize and honor our veterans in classes Tuesday through Friday this week. Officially, Veteran’s Day is recognized on Friday, November 11.
Homework Help is available! Students who need assistance or a quiet place to work after school can go to A212 (Mrs. Mattison) or A202 (Mrs. Snyder) on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays from 3:15 - 3:45.
