PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora tātou,
It was fabulous to see the excitement and joy on the children's faces at yesterday's Junior Prize Giving Assembly, hopefully, some of my photos have captured that. Thank you to the huge number of people who came along to support the children, it was a lovely event.
Today the children visited their 2023 classrooms and teachers. It was terrific to be able to do this. You can see the structure below. We do have two roles we have yet to finalise. We will have these in place before the term starts.
The end of the year sees a number of staff moving on. We congratulate Mrs Sadlier who is won a position working for ERO, and acknowledge the long service of Mrs Watson who is retiring. Also leaving for different roles are Whaea Lynne (Rm 3), Miss Smith (Rm 5), Mr Dahya (Rm 9), and Whaea Catherine (Rm 17). We wish them all the best in their new endeavours and thank them for being part of our story.
Tonight our Year 6 children have their Graduation, a special event for them and us, as they move on to the next part of their learning journey. I am looking forward to seeing them and whānau tonight.
Have a great week. Kia pai tō wiki!
