- installation of Gaga Pit on the playground
- flavor watered packets purchased as a "pick me up" for staff
- looking for ways to continue to build family events
- looking into a banner to put outside Lincoln to celebrate the school's 50th Anniversary!
PTO is always looking for more members to contribute...even if you're not able to commit to a monthly meeting. Join anytime for any meeting by emailing PTO ahead of time to get the Zoom link. We love our Lincoln PTO!
Students Returning In-Person
What’s considered an acceptable or unacceptable face covering?
Acceptable face coverings: Cloth or paper coverings that contain at least two layers and cover the nose and mouth. Per CDC Guidelines.
Unacceptable face coverings: Face coverings without two layers, face coverings with vents or holes, gaiters, and face shields without a mask underneath. Per CDC Guidelines.
Staff, students and visitors will not be permitted to wear a face covering that contains references or content related to, pictures of and/or writing about alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, sexual acts, profanity, promotion of gambling, illegal drugs, disruptive symbols of hatred or intolerance (e.g., confederate flags, a swastika or other Nazi symbols, white supremacist symbols, etc.), and/or gangs.
Please send a spare mask in a ziploc baggie with your child's name on it in case masks need to be changed out from getting wet or dirty.
Students should bring their own school supplies as supplies will not be group-shared at any level. (See the Link Below.)
All water fountains are shut off through the school; HOWEVER, Lincoln did install a water bottle filling station and has even purchased 50th anniversary water bottles for all students. It will be student's responsibility to remember the water bottle and to take it home on Fridays to be cleaned. We will NOT have extra water bottles at school should a child forget the one given to them.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided in the classroom each day.
School hours are 8:30 to 3:30 with NO before or after school daycare available. (Should daycare become a need, please contact Wausau Child Care.)
If the teacher allows any snacks in the classroom, the snacks MUST be NUT- free.
We are SOOOOO looking forward to students returning to Lincoln in November. A more detailed newsletter will be sent home as we iron out all plans for in-school and virtual learning. Stay tuned...
