5th Grade Update
Week of January 29 - February 2
This weeks learning at a glance
Reading- Your child will be reading about Westward Expansion and researching one of the territories.
Writing- Your child will be taking the Reading Benchmark this Wednesday. Please make sure your child is well rested and brings snacks and water to make it through the whole test.
Social Studies- Your child will be finding out about the Westward Expansion and the specifics about one specific territory.
Math- Your child will be working on multiplying and dividing fractions.
Science- Your child will be inquiring into the differences between weather and climate.
states and capitals test febuary 7th

Lysol Wipes to keep tables clean!
If you are able to contribute any of these items please just have your student bring in with them.

Earbuds please!
Dollar general has earbuds for $1!
Please make sure your child has earbuds that they can keep at school. You may have learned already from your child, but it is difficult to hear on one of the programs when they do not have earbuds and they can not listen to the various parts read to them.
