School Pictures / Enrollment at LTMS

Open Enrollment and School Pictures at LTMS for the 2019-20 school year is scheduled on August 1st from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and August 2nd from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

At enrollment you will have the opportunity to:

  • Take your school photo/pictures
  • Pay 2019-20 school fees
  • Arrange bus transportation
  • Pay student nutrition
  • Turn in athletic paperwork
  • Receive student schedules/locker assignments (only upon completion of online enrollment and fees paid)

If you have not already done so, please complete Online Enrollment through your Skyward account. Your student(s) will not be able to pick up schedules and locker assignments until this is completed and fees are paid. If you need help accessing your Skyward account, please contact our office.

Fees paid in advance through e-Funds will help avoid standing in the payment line. Payments made at Open Enrollment can be made with cash or check only.

Athletic paperwork will be collected during Open Enrollment. All students participating in sports must have a physical and signed consent form on file. Your KSHSAA physical must be completed/dated after May 1, 2019. All other athletic paperwork will need to be completed online through your Skyward account.

School Supplies

This year, due to construction, new flooring, and custodial cleaning, students will not have the opportunity to visit lockers and leave school supplies during enrollment. We apologize for the inconvenience, but these new upgrades make it worth the wait! The school supply list can be accessed below, and students can look forward to bringing their supplies on the first day of school.
.

Technology at LTMS Update

As you may already know, USD 232 is set to roll out its One-Device-per-Learner technology initiative this fall when school begins. Each student will be issued a MacBook, and we are excited about the possibilities this will bring to our classrooms and to the overall educational experiences our students will have.

Related to our transition to the use of district issued devices, we will implement a policy change in regard to the use of personal devices at school. Effective for the 2019-20 school year, the use of personal devices (phones, iPads, etc.) will be allowed only during passing periods, and devices should be kept in lockers. The use of personal devices in class and during lunch will be prohibited.

The district and school will be sharing more information in the coming weeks, but if you have any questions or concerns please let us know.
