Hello Mills Families,
We have gotten to Spring Break and it is hard to believe how fast this school year is going and how far we have come since August. First and foremost, we wish all of you an enjoyable break and hope you are able to find time to relax and spend quality time with your students. This edition of the Mills Moments has information about upcoming events so be sure to see what is included to be up-to-date with school happenings.
As a reminder, parents picking up and or dropping off pre-k students, please be mindful of the handicap parking spots. It is reserved for those that have a Disabled Parking Placard or license plate.
We are excited about the upcoming construction that will be starting here at Mills. For updated information throughout the process, please visit https://www.epcusd401.org/construction.
The students in grades 3-5 will begin their Illinois Assessment for Readiness testing on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) is an annual test that learners in grades 3-8 in the state of Illinois take. The Illinois Assessment of Readiness is a battery of tests that evaluate student performance in English language arts and mathematics. Students will take one test a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week until the testing is complete.
It is very important that each student come to school on his/her testing dates and do the best he/she can on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness so that our district can properly serve him/her in the 2022-2023 school year.
We want to encourage you, once again, to view your child's report card! See how to view your child's report card by clicking below. Please contact Ms. Gomez, Assistant Principal, if you need assistance- email@example.com.
