Charlotte Danielson Training:
Framework for Teaching
Are you a CESA 10 Principal using the Danielson Framework? Would you like to learn how to support teachers in providing authentic artifacts rather than filling components? In this training, you will learn how the seven Common Themes of The Framework for Teaching provides educators with context to how they will showcases their professional practice in Domains 1 and 4. The Common Themes guide what educators do through equity, cultural competence, student assumption of responsibility, developmental appropriateness, use of technology, attention to individual students and high expectations. Making these connections to artifacts will synthesize an educators professional practice so that evidence is meaningful and will grow through the plan, teach, reflect and apply cycle.
Learning outcomes include:
- Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Charlotte Danielson FfT.
- Particpants will learn how to use the Framework for Teaching to build and implement SLOs.
- Participants will learn how to connect how we teach (FfT) to impact how students learn (SLOs).
The cost to attend this event is $10.00 per participant.
