Falcon Friday Update-Sept 23, 2022
Olathe South High School
Principal's Corner
Homecoming week is in full swing! We've had a great week of spirit days and have some great fall weather on tap for the Powerpuff game and Luau on Thursday evening. The fun continues Friday with the crowning ceremony at halftime at the football game. We will conclude with the dance on Saturday evening.
We want this weekend to be a fun and positive experience for our students.....but more importantly we want it to be a safe weekend. Be aware of the social and peer influences as your student prepares for each of these memorable events. High school students don't need hovering but they do still need advice, supervision and monitoring as they learn to deal with more freedom and responsibility. Talking through potential scenarios and solutions before an event can proactively reduce the chances of a problem.
Go Falcons!
