Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Conferences for 8th Grade Students

All grade 8 students in South Carolina public schools are required to complete an IGP (Individual Graduation Plan) conference. The purpose of the IGP conference is to make sure that students are taking the required courses to progress toward high school graduation, post-secondary school and career goals.

Students MUST pass ELA, math & one other core course in order to be promoted to grade 9. You must attend your conference even if you do not plan on attending SCVCS next year. Remember, the IGP is a plan, and your schedule for next year will be subject to course and teacher availability. Your final grades and attendance will also affect this plan at the end of the year. Your grade 9 counselors and advisors will call to verify this plan during the summer months.

We look forward to working with students in the upcoming months. To those of you who have completed your IGP already, thank you!
