What is it?
The red wolf is the endangered species I chose.
Where is it?
The red wolf resides in the coastal plain region of North Carolina, more specifically the coastal prairie and marsh habitats.
Why is it?
The red wolf is endangered due to loss of habitat and extensive predator control programs.
How is it stopping?
They have a breeding protect going on to keep the population of the red wolf afloat. This breeding project has been going on for many years to keep the red wolf species from going from endangered to extinct.
