PUE Chorus to Participate in Pieces of Gold
Odyssey of Mind Team Going to States
News of Note
Leadership Team Meeting is this Thursday at 7:45 in the Data Room.
Thank you to our 3rd, 4th and 5th staff that went to the recent ELA materials review to research the options being considered for next year. Assistant Superintendent for Academics, Bryan Kingsley is sharing some online review options below.
Thanks to Heather Shipley and Jaymie Boose for attending the Odyssey of the Mind regional competition on Saturday.
Thank you for "Love the Bus" Items: Thank you for the items you all sent in for the bus drivers. They received cards and food from many classes, and special bus cookies from Ms. Hay. Ms. Stunda had color coded bags for each driver and Ms. Person took pictures of them with their goodies. She also got them breakfast this past Wednesday morning. If you were not mentioned and you did something individually, thank you, as well. Thank you all so much for your support of these special men and women who drive others' children to and from school every day.
Emergency Weather Drill: Wednesday, March 8th at 9:30 we will hold our annual SEVERE WEATHER DRILL.
Please go over proper procedures with your classes and be familiar with where you should go to shelter in place (see the posted emergency maps in classrooms.)
Remember that if you are outside, you have to COME IN and shelter in a hallway as far AWAY FROM WINDOWS, DOORS, AND SKYLIGHTS as possible.
Stay Off the Grass: This is not a reference to what you might be thinking! We mean the seeded areas on the playgrounds. Please ask your students to stay off of the newly seeded areas- in particular on the 4-5 playground, so that the lawn has a chance to grow. The rains that come in March and April should give these areas new life!
Staff/Student Accolades: If you have any students or teammates that we need to recognize for above and beyond activities please let us know by email by end of day each Friday so that we can recognize each. As humble as most of you are, it is very important that we publicly recognize the great things that take place each week, extra effort and student/staff accomplishments.
New ELA Materials (3-5): Bryan Kingsley, Assistant Superintendent for Academics
