Brownies with Mr. Brown
The class of 2020 is inviting all students in the class of 2020 to attend Brownies with Mr. Brown. It will be held on Thursday Dec 13th in the amphitheater during lunch. This event is for students in the class of 2020 to meet Mr. Brown and ask questions regarding Blake High School.
AfterProm Interest & Volunteer Meeting
AfterProm is an event designed to keep our students safe and making positive choices after the senior prom in May. This is a very worthwhile event that only happens through the hard work of our parent volunteers. We have several parents who are excited to make this happen but the Blake AfterProm committee needs more support.
Please check out the Blake HS PTSA Facebook Page for more information.
Montgomery County Public School Updates
What Does Your School of the Future Look Like?
The physical classroom and school environment affects teaching and learning and MCPS wants to know how students use those spaces on a daily basis. Students in all grade levels are invited to participate in a survey for them to share their feedback.
Parents/guardians of elementary students are encouraged to talk with their children about their learning environments and help them complete this survey: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSerCMOXTGuVCeThRki6Dz7I4m2eVha_A5Ba_MSNmiurPUkv-w/viewform.
Middle and high school students may share their feedback here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfAH--vClE-36XnLccMmss3MaB0GPtMRF1u3nBujsxaewr4Dg/viewform.
MCPS will collect survey results through the beginning of January and the information will be used to support continuous improvement of its educational facilities. After results have been collected, students will have the opportunity to participate in a contest to envision the future of schools and help influence future design. More information about the contest will be provided in the coming weeks.
