Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
November 15, 2019
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
It has been another action-packed week here at Muskego High School. The Department of Public Instruction has released the state scorecards for all public schools and Muskego High School saw significant improvement from the previous year. We are proud to announce that our school earned a ranking of Exceeds Expectations. See full results HERE. These improvements are the result of strong collective efforts from a staff that cares immensely about every student and outstanding support from the families we partner with.
As proud as we are of these results, please know that we are fully committed to doing even better. We believe in our goal to ensure that every student gets connected in our building and finds the success we know they are capable of. Your help and support is essential to reaching these goals. Please take a few minutes of your time and complete this parent survey Muskego-Norway School District Parent Satisfaction Survey to help us better identify our strengths and areas to grow. This survey will be open through 12/11/19. Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated.
As we head into the weekend, please consider getting out to support our Warriors in action. Tonight our Warrior football team will battle in the Level 4 Playoff game, with the winner earning an opportunity to play for the state championship in Camp Randall next Friday. On Saturday, our Warrior swimmers and divers conclude their season as they compete at the WIAA State Championship Meet. Also Saturday evening, our outstanding music program hosts it’s Tri M Pops Concert at 7:00 in the PAC. Don’t forget about the amazing Mother/Son Masquerade hosted by our FBLA students in our cafeteria as well.
As always, make sure to check out our webpage to see what events are happening next week at MHS. Our community support is second to none! Your support and energy make Muskego High School the special place that it is.
Have a great weekend and we hope to see you soon.
Go Warriors!

Great Experiences had by all at Trades Day
Congratulations Sue Vogel for being 2019 WHSTCA Division I Coach of the Year!
Congratulations Mr. Wanner on Teacher of the Week
“From the moment you first meet Mr. Wanner, you know there’s something different about him. The care and passion he has for self-expression is evident every day, and it rubs off on every single one of his students. Mr. Wanner does much more than teach music, he teaches his students how to feel and express emotion, how to lift others up, how to be an agent for change in the world. For me and so many other students, current and former, Mr. Wanner is a bright and welcoming light in an otherwise dark and hostile world.”
Thank you, Mr. Wanner, for changing the world one student at a time.
Thank you Lawrence for the nomination.
Congratulations to Paula Johnson-Fox for receiving the Award of Recognition from the American Association of Teachers of French. Paula was nominated by peers from around the state for her outstanding contributions to our profession.
