HOME OF THE "PROUD PATRIOTS"
The mission of Cedar Grove Elementary is to grow our students into respectful, curious and productive citizens.
GOODBYE TO OUR GRADE FIVE STUDENTS
Mrs. Monetti's Yearbook Letter to Grade Five
To My Grade Five Proud Patriots,
As you look forward with both excitement and (perhaps) some nervousness about the next leg of your educational journey, I encourage you to look back on your accomplishments at Cedar Grove Elementary! You have spent the last six years in elementary school -- Building a strong foundation which will ensure your future success. You have been guided by both supportive families and caring and talented teachers.
As you get ready to leave us, I wish you the following:
- Always know you are important and worthy.
- Never settle for less than your personal best.
- Always listen before you speak.
- Treat others as you would want to be treated.
- Surround yourself with positive people.
These past few years you have faced some extraordinary circumstances. I am proud of how you met each challenge with perseverance. Within each one of you is the potential for greatness. As you make your way into the world, remember both your time here at Cedar Grove Elementary and that you will always be a “Proud Patriot.”
With Love,
Mrs. Monetti
