December 4, 2020
Dear Parents,
Welcome to December! It's hard to believe we are almost halfway through this crazy 2020-2021 school year. We are heading into a busy time in the Guidance Office with end of semester grades, the start of a new semester and course planning for 2021-2022 school year. Here are the most recent updates for you.

Class of 2022, Class of 2023, and Class of 2024 will be meeting with their Class Counselor on January 13th to go over Course Registration for 2021-2022. All students must attend EITHER the 8:00am session or the 1:00pm session.
(Students will receive the zoom link in their email the day before the meeting)

Freshman Updates from Mrs. Anderson
- The Tinker Bell Talks have gone well (the small group meetings) and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the new freshmen! They have a lot of personality and can’t wait to get more involved on campus (when it’s possible).
- January 13th 8:00-9:00am or 1:00-2:00pm, mandatory Class Registration Meeting. Your daughter must choose ONE time to attend a meeting with me on this day. We will be going over academic and college requirements, honors/AP courses, and the course registration process for sophomore year.
- Freshman Parent Evening in January - date coming soon. We will be going over academic and college requirements, honors/AP courses, and course registration for sophomore year.
- I am emailing information to the students about finals. For many of them, it will be their first time taking them. They are receiving lots of important information about them from their teachers, also. Finals are December 14th - 17th.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions!

Junior Updates from Mrs. Baker
- The College Advisors and I have started our "Kick Off To College" zoom meetings with the Class of 2022. Our final session is Wednesday, December 9th at 12:00. If you daughter didn't attend on the 2nd, please make sure she logs in on the 9th so that she can meet the College Advisors and get an outline of the College Advising plan that will be happening this spring.
- Class of 2022 Parent Meeting! December 9th at 6:00. This will be a zoom meeting (link will be sent the day before). The College Advisors and I will go over the College Advising plan and we will also address all of those standardized testing questions. We look forward to meeting with you!
PSAT: Juniors may choose to take the PSAT/NMSQT on campus on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in accordance with state and county guidelines. We will not hold regular classes on this date. Instead, January 26 becomes the “Flex Day” instead of Wednesday, January 27. In order to take the PSAT on campus, students MUST, regardless of cohort, participate in COVID testing on Thursday, January 21, 2021. More information and a sign-up link will be provided at the Junior parent meeting on December 9th.
- January 13th 8:00-9:00am or 1:00-2:00pm, Class Registration Meeting. Your daughter must choose ONE time to attend a meeting with me on this day. We will be going over course registration for senior year and we will discuss how her course choices will impact her in the College Admissions process.
Please reach out if I can be of any assistance to you or your daughter!
