Bruster's Blue Ice

Bruster's Blue Ice will be on sale on Friday, October 3rd. The cost is $2 for a cup of blue ice. There will be no ice cream sales on that day in the cafeteria. Have a fun treat and support the school at the same time!


Please take a moment to complete the very brief parent perception survey that will be available online to our parents through the GCPS Parent Portal beginning September 24, 2014. The online survey will also be available to you at Harbins when you come for parent-teacher conferences. Your feedback is very important to us and helps us to continuously improve! We hope you will take a few minutes to complete the survey!

Help PTA Reach Their "Fun"Raiser Goal!

Please consider donating $20 per student to PTA as this year's "fun"raiser. 100% of the funds are used to support Harbins! Let's reach our goal so there is no need to have a fundraiser to sell merchandise. October 1st is coming quickly! We hope you will consider donating to help our school!!

Harbins Days is Coming Soon!

Harbins Days is Saturday, October 18th. The PTA is requesting your help to make this event a success for the children.

We have several ways to contribute to help make this event great. Please contribute what you can. Contact your room rep for details about what is needed for your specific class/grade.

Drinks – Drop off dates are Friday, October 3rd and 10th

For your convenience, you can drop off supplies on these dates in the car rider line. If you need to come to the front to drop off items, please park in the side lot and walk your items to the front. Cars are not permitted in the car rider lot during arrival and dismissal.

Friendly Reminders:

ALL students of all ages must be accompanied by an adult to attend Harbins Days. We are expecting a large number in attendance. Please plan ahead for parking and carpool if possible.

PTA Silent Auction at Harbins Days

PTA needs your help in putting together gift baskets for the silent auction. See the gift basket themes for each grade level listed below. Please send any donations of items to your child's classroom. We appreciate your support of our upcoming silent auction!

Box Tops!

Start collecting those dimes now! Our Boxtops contest starts September 1 and ends October 1. The student that collects the most Boxtops will receive a gift basket! each child that turns in more than 100 Boxtops, will receive a small prize. You may send them bundled in groups of 50 or on a collection sheet. Please make sure you put your child's teacher name on the form or baggie. The collection box is in the front of the school by the media center. You may go the Harbins website to print the collection form @

Fridays Are Spirit Days!

Wear your favorite Tiger spirit shirts on Friday to show your school spirit! Help your class win the School Spirit Paw!
