Mark was born on May 14, 1984 in White Plains, New York. His mother's name was Karen and his father was Edward. He had three siblings, Randi, Donna, and Arielle. His mother was a psychiatrist and his father was a dentist.
When Mark found an interest in computers, he used Atari to make a simple messaging program called "Zucknet".
Education
Mark Zuckerberg studied at three different colleges and universities:

- Phillips Exeter College
- Harvard University
At Harvard, he was the go-to software developer. He created two apps, CourseMatch and FaceMash, one of which is to organize your schedule and the other is to compare people's looks. He left Harvard to work on Facebook because of its success.
