Summer Memo 2020
All the important deets to stay in the know!
May It Be of Benefit
Hello Parents, Students, and Staff,
Just a quick note to say, "Happy Summer." The staff sure enjoyed seeing many of you when you came to pick up your belongings and class projects, and we had a GREAT time celebrating 5th graders as they drove through our parking lot on Thursday evening. Who would have predicted that "drive-through graduations/promotions/celebrations" would become a thing?!
I've had many questions about when school will resume and what it will look like. What I can tell you now is that we are planning on the start of the 20/21 school year being August 12th, and at this point, all we know is that the health department and the governor have not determined the details of what we will need to do. Everything else is speculation, so it's best to stay tuned for more info and stay flexible.
Enjoy every precious day of your summer break. I can't wait to see you in August!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Gold
Student Belongings
We have 110 bags of student belongings left in our gym. Unfortunately, we cannot store these items over the summer because we have to clean rooms and floors. Currently, bags are in the gym and the gym floor must be cleaned. Moving 110 bags around from room to room as we clean is impractical. I encourage you to come and get your child's bag. There are headphones and other important and quality items and I would feel terrible about disposing of these things. Please call the office first so we can go and get the bag(s) and have them ready when you arrive at the office doors. Our office will only be open for this service THIS week from 7 am to 4 pm. Call 224-4180 for assistance.
