HUMBLE MUSEUM DEDICATION CEREMONY
SCHOOL BOARD VOTES UNANIMOUSLY TO REBUILD NORTH BELT ELEMENTARY
The Board voted unanimously to build a new North Belt Elementary School on a 27-acre site located at the southeast corner of Old Humble Road and Bender Road. The district utilized bond funds originally designated for a new multipurpose room/gym at North Belt to purchase this tract of land in April 2020 so that North Belt Elementary could receive not just a new gym out of Bond 2018 – but a whole new campus with a gym. CURBSIDE MEAL PICKUP FOR VIRTUAL LEARNERS
Virtual learners, UIL learners, and students home for the day can continue picking up curbside meals every Monday & Wednesday school day from 9 to 10 a.m. at these distribution sites: Elm Grove Elementary, Park Lakes Elementary, Ridge Creek Elementary, Woodland Hills Elementary, Timberwood Middle School, Atascocita High School and Humble High School. Join the CLC counselors from 6 to 8 p.m. November 17 for a discussion on dealing with stress. Stress is a normal part of life. You can feel stress in your body when you have too much to do or when you haven’t slept well. Whatever your stress, you need coping tools to help your body recover from the effects stress leaves behind. Dr. Bruce Guillory will share ways to reduce stress in our lives and how to help our bodies recover from stress. Register online
