COVID Quarantine Clarifications
For students who are considered a close contact to a positive case outside of the home, the timeline is:
Quarantine for 10 days from the last day of exposure, with students eligible to return on the 11th day if symptom-free for the previous 24 hours.
Testing is recommended but not required. Students cannot return earlier with a negative test. If any symptoms develop during the quarantine period testing is highly recommended. Please report any symptoms or positive test results during quarantine to the school.
If the positive close contact is a family member within the household, the return date is generally 24 days. This will be determined on a case by case basis based on the last date of close contact and the ability to quarantine separately within the house.
There is a link on the district home page with COVID-19 information.
