Message of Gratitude - Thanksgiving
Dear WMS Families,
As I take some time to reflect this Thanksgiving season, I must express my gratitude for our entire WMS community. On behalf of my staff and myself, we are extremely grateful that you entrust us with your child each and every day. I am proud to be part of this community and lead such a phenomenal group of people here at WMS. Everyone — from the front office staff, custodians, kitchen staff, and paraprofessionals, to our teachers and administrators — is continuing to show up for our kids each and every day. The relationships, perseverance, dedication, high expectations, and rigorous lessons that our staff consistently offers is deeply valued and appreciated.
We are also grateful for your continued support. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and we are grateful to be part of your village. We need to continue to work together for the betterment of all of our children, for they are our future. Our three main goals here at WMS are Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Community. We, as partners in education, need to continue to collaborate to develop critical thinkers to build a caring and respectful community. Thank you for all that you do to instill and support these characteristics at home — we are grateful!
We hope that you have some time over the upcoming week to give thanks, rest and relax, and enjoy each other. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break!

Way to go, Peyton! We appreciate you!
The SERVE 6-8: Adopt- A-Family Giving Tree has landed at Windsor Middle School (WMS). First take a tag off the giving tree at the WMS or scan the QR code and purchase the named gift on the tag. Next, bring your unwrapped gift to WMS by December 15th. Thank you so much- We appreciate your support this holiday season.
TELEPHONES/CELL PHONES
Cell phones are not to be used by students inside the school during school hours from 8:35 to 3:55 pm without teacher permission. The school offices are open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday to receive phone calls. Students may use the office phone when necessary. Messages will be delivered to students as needed. As such, please assist us by NOT messaging or directly contacting your student during the day. Violation of this policy will result in a cell phone discipline plan for the student.
Cell phone disruptions and distractions are beginning to interfere with classroom instruction. Parents please be mindful of the above cell phone policy. If you need to contact your child during the school day, please contact the front office at 970-686-8200.
