#CelebrateMonday
May 13, 2019
And many of us need the opportunity for new beginnings - or at least the opportunity to try again.
That's definitely true for me! At the beginning of this calendar year, I shared with the world that my One Word for the year is Commit. I had several things to which I planned to commit myself. But here we are - not even a full 5 months into the year and I have already failed on several of those commitments - and even on commitments that I had prior to the new year (like Celebrating Monday!).
Sometimes that's not easy - sometimes it's easier to look to the finish and tell myself that I can just take it easy and let things slide. But I know that our principals, teachers, and students deserve better than that from me - and I'm committed to finishing strong! I won't be perfect at it every day - but I can definitely recommit to that daily!
Commit to recommitting when you fall or fail - get right back up and focus on doing your very best work for you, for your staff, and for your students!
And don't ever forget that your biggest and best group of cheerleaders and supporters can be found in each other! Let's make sure we call upon each other to lift us up when we need it - so we can continue the final push to the end!
Oh - and don't forget to make this the best Monday of the week!
Cheers!
