Dendrite Depot is Back! Opens October 5th!
Scholars have the opportunity to buy prizes from the Dendrite Depot using their Neurons. What are "Neurons"? They are tickets/bucks that they receive from their teachers/staff for completing assignments, having good attendance, reaching goals, participating in class, being in AVID scholar.
One way that you can help at home is by making sure that your child reads 20 minutes a day or you read with them, if they are not readers yet. Make sure to sign their reading logs to get credit in class.

Code of Conduct
TUSD has adopted a new Code of Conduct. Join us for our first Cafecito. We will be going over the Code of Conduct. Your scholars have been reviewing it in their classes.
Magic Box
This month we have a special visit from the Magic Box. Scholars are encouraged to write creative original stories to feed the Magic Box. The Box will leave Ochoa on October 20th. On November 17, the Magic Box returns and brings to life some of the stories that the scholars wrote. Please encourage your child to write stories for the Magic Box. The more the better!
