FROM MR. ORTMAN and MR. MURTHA
Last week, we passed our 100th day of the school year. Can you believe it? This means we are well past the halfway point of the 2022-2023 school year... again, can you believe it?... and we are rolling along! Our students continue to bring their enthusiasm and focus for learning to school each day, and we continue to see amazing academic growth. Although we may have less days left in the 2022-2023 school year than we have already spent, there is still a great deal of time left, and we know that you will continue to see tremendous learning in the months ahead. Please continue to ask your child about their learning experiences at school as often as you are able. If you can get them to share, we think you will be amazed by what they tell you!
Before wishing you are wonderful, long, weekend, just a few procedural reminders:
- Please only send in non-food items (e.g pencils, stickers) if you want to send something to share with you child's class to celebrate their birthday.
- As our Mill Creek Magic Moments after school programs run through March 9, out of respect for our many volunteers, please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at the conclusion of their class at 4:30 p.m.
- If volunteer opportunities come up and you would like to participate, the District requires that you have your volunteer clearances.
Have a wonderful weekend, Mill Creek!
