SJS WEEKLY

12-4-21

Big picture

Congratulations to our 6th grade showcase students for getting 1st place at the Academic Team Competition!

Principal Corner

We pray that your Advent Season has begun in a prayerful fashion, and that you continue to grow closer to God at this time.

We are looking forward to our first Christmas Program in two years at SKyPAC on December 14. We hope you can make it out to the event. We would like to ask in advance that you could please honor our requests at the end of the evening, when it is time to dismiss students in a safe manner. If parents and families follow our requests, there is a much better chance that we can be dismissed in an orderly fashion.

Our archery season has started, and it has been a great new activity for students to participate in this year. We have competitions coming up--about 2 per month--the best of luck to those team members moving forward.

The spring will bring a new and exciting venture for many of our middle school students, as we start our first-ever baseball team at SJS. We will release more details as the season approaches. The team will start some workouts in January.

God bless, and have a great week!

Rodney Schwartz--SJS Principal
