Parent Night on Tuesday, 2/18, from 6:00-7:00
We hope you can join us on Tuesday night for another Parent Night for 2019-2020! Please plan to arrive at 6:00 and head to your child's classroom. Your child's teacher will give an update on what is going on in their class and what is coming up in their classroom and grade level.
At 6:25, we will transition to a parent class on one of the following topics:
6:30-7:00 Life Leader in the Gym--Learn more about our LifeLeader attributes and how our students are learning about them from our specials team!
6:30-7:00 CCMR in Mangrum Hall--Learn from our Secondary CTE Coordinator, Leigh Dopson, about CCMR and how you can encourage conversation with your child about college, career, and military readiness.
We hope to see you there!
When you are ready for life, you have a clear perception of your personality. You know what your strengths are as well as your weaknesses. You understand your own thoughts, beliefs, motivation, and emotions. You take the time to express how you feel, reflect on thing you could improve on, and ask for feedback from others. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, Self- Aware.
This weeks I will statement “I will be aware of myself by knowing my strengths and weaknesses.”
Perfect Attendance Incentives
Life School Red Oak would like to encourage our students to be in attendance each day to make sure they can “Ready to Learn, Ready to Lead, Ready for Life.” We will hold a drawing at the end of each month for all students that have perfect attendance for that month. Students must have perfect attendance during the month, no absences, tardies, or early checkouts. There will be a prize for students that are in Kindergarten thru 3rd grade and a prize for students in 4th grade thru 6th grade. The prize winners will be announced during morning announcements and we will contact the parents/guardians to come by the office to pick up the prizes.
