Nurse at Brookfield

This week we say goodbye to our nurse, Jenna Taylor, who has resigned. We wish her the very best and thank her for helping us navigate our way through the pandemic in her time with us.

We are currently interviewing a number of candidates to be our new nurse and hope to have one of them hired as soon as possible. We won’t have a nurse in our building, but have access to our other two district nurses; Beth Osha and Sadie Lyford in the interim. We have made arrangements for weekly COVID testing to continue on Tuesdays and have Molly Mullen on loan from RUHS to make this happen. If you have any questions, please ask Lisa Becker or David Roller first. We will direct you to one of the nurses if needed

Thanksgiving Meal

The OSSD Food Service Program will be preparing our Annual Thanksgiving feast for all schools on Thursday, November 18th.

This is the only meal that will be prepared on this day. We will not be offering an alternative lunch on this day (ie. pizza), so if your child is not interested in a Thanksgiving meal, please make sure they bring a lunch from home.

With COVID-19 restrictions we are asking that parents and relatives not attend this school year.
