Lunch and Learn with Marilyn Chiarello
Marilyn Chiarello, founder of A Taste of Light, is a certified educator, healthy lifestyle coach and raw vegan chef with a passion for living and promoting a sustainable lifestyle that is light on the environment and shines light on the world, while nourishing the body and nurturing the soul.
Marilyn presents regularly at health and wellness conferences, has appeared on News 12's Long Island Naturally with Mary Mucci and offers services as a healthy lifestyle consultant for wellness centers and more recently, the Brattleboro Food Coop. She has certificates in the Living Foods Lifestyle from the Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico and has studied raw food preparation with Cherie Soria, founder of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA.
In her own quest for optimal health, Marilyn adopted a raw vegan lifestyle in 2008, and has since enjoyed increased energy, more mental clarity and an unexpected side effect - shedding 20 pounds of adult padding!
Research supports the benefits of plant-based diets. Raw foods have the added benefit of retaining the life force of plant foods, along with the enzymes necessary for digestion and overall health.
In her work as a raw vegan chef, educator and health coach, Marilyn introduces many delicious ways to prepare whole living foods full of nutrients and enzymes, and offers strategies for incorporating more healthy foods into meals. She also teaches how to set up the kitchen for a healthy lifestyle and replace calorie-dense, food-like substances with nutrient-dense whole foods that satisfy and nourish.
Recognizing that a vegan lifestyle is not only ideal for personal health, but is also an essential element in restoring environmental health to our planet and a contributing factor for achieving world peace, Marilyn has developed a program that can serve to transform the world... a taste of light at a time.
You are in store for an enLIGHTening adventure to try new foods that are easy for you and your family to prepare, eat enjoy and serve your optimal health.

WHO WE ARE:
Amy is the founder of Amy Elias Inc. and Integrative Transformational Therapeutics (ITT) which is a full play of psychology, physiology and high performance. ITT combines mindset, diet, lifestyle and environmental influences and it is here where "Eat. Sleep. Move. Pray. Love." got born. She is a wellness expert, yoga teacher and was a pioneer for wholeness in living, her personal movement. She left her Special Education teaching position to raise her children naturally, in her LIVE LIFE FULLY paradigm with the anthroposophical pedagogy as her reference point. She has taught both vegetarian and macrobiotic cooking classes publicly and privately. Hippocrates quote, "Let Food Be Thy Medicine" runs her show still to this day with her adult children still asking what they ought to eat for any specific ailment. As a consultant for families with ADHD and relationship issues, Amy sees solutions in the epigenome: diet, lifestyle and environment. The life she lives is a value-based one and fashions this to her vision of a “wholeness in education” initiative – Inspired Relevant Education – whereby education is “by design” and filled with passion, purpose and relevance – a formula for success.
