How do things change over time?
How have things changed since your grandparents were first graders? How were their lives like yours when they were your age? How were they different? Let's talk with them and find out!
- Ask them the questions you were given and record their answers on your paper. Be ready to share their answers with the class on Monday, November 26th.
- Use their answers to complete a Venn diagram like the one below. Compare your life as a child now to your grandparent's long ago.
- Next, take a picture of your Venn diagram and post it on SeeSaw to share with classmates and your family.

- Write about 6 important events that have happened in your life so far. Be sure to include the date each happened.
- Ask your parents to help you gather pictures or draw illustrations to match each event. Please return your cards to school by Monday, December 3rd.
- We will create your timeline at school so that you can share with our class how you have changed over time.
