A Night at the Oscars!

Mayans! We are excited to announce our first dance, A Night at the Oscars!!!

  • Food available for purchase!

All students must turn in a permission slip for entry to the dance. Please pick up your permission slips at the ASB and bring them with you to the dance!!!

ASB Applications for Semester 2!

Are you an 8th grader who wants to have more fun or a 7th grader who wants to try out ASB? Then, you should apply to ASB for the second semester!!! Please fill out the application below to be considered. You must also have 2 teacher recommendations, grades check, and an interview with Ms. Jones and current ASB members. All applications are due by Thursday, December 8.

Strengths Highlight: DEPENDABILITY

Our strengths highlight this week is DEPENDABILITY!!!

Our strengths leaders planned out a fun obstacle course for partners to navigate. One person was blindfolded and they had to DEPEND on their partner to get them through the course without harm. It was so fun to watch!


Dependability: Trust is important to you, and you care about being seen as responsible and trustworthy. People count on you to do what you say you will do. When you make a promise, you mean to keep it.

The winter season is upon us, and one of the best things to do in the colder weather is to cozy up with a nice book and admire the outside elements while keeping warm and toasty inside!

Your library has many winter/holiday-themed books to get you into the spirit. Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, picture books – we’ve got a nice mix here and a delivery of new books just in time for winter break. You can check out up to three books. Come in out of the cold and visit us soon!
