Here's everything you need to know for 2023-2024.

Welcome Incoming Sixth Grade Students!

Please accept our warmest welcome to the Diablo View Middle School family. Contained in this welcome newsletter, we hope to include everything you need to set your child up for success in middle school.


Please take a moment to fill out the Course Request Form in the button below. This will allow us to give your child the desired elective track (Music or Intro to Electives Rotation).


Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We do not take it lightly that you chose DVMS. If you have any questions along the way, please do not hesitate to reach out to us so we can help.

Course Request Form - Please fill out ASAP

Please fill out this Elective Course Request Form by Tuesday, April 11th. You will need to select between Music or our 6th Grade Elective Rotation (4 different introductory electives TBD).

Summer Enrichment at Diablo View

Incoming 6th graders are invited to join us for summer enrichment from June 7 until June 16. Our summer school offerings are not for remediation purposes, but rather are a great opportunity to provide enrichment, get to know our campus, and for students to build rapport with some of their future teachers.


Please save the date and plan to come. Sign up information will be sent out soon.

Camp Diablo View: Save the Date

Our annual Camp Diablo View for incoming 6th graders will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023. (Incoming) Sixth graders should arrive at 10 am for Picture Day, campus tours, information about DVMS, textbooks, and lunch with their new peers.

If you haven't already, please sign up for/log into Homelink

It is imperative that you log into Parent Homelink in order to update your current contact information as well as access important information moving forward. On Homelink you can:


  1. Keep your contact information up to date
  2. Check your child's schedule
  3. Check your child's grades
  4. View your child's progress reports and report cards
  5. Check your child's attendance
If you need help logging into your Homelink account, there are written instructions on our district's website. If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office.

My name is Cassi Niles and this is my fifth year working as a school counselor at Diablo View. Diablo View Middle School has a comprehensive school counseling program that provides students with social/emotional support, academic skills assistance, and high school/college exploration and planning. School counselors are here to support students with any of their personal or academic goals during middle school. We hope you have an amazing three years here at Diablo View!
