What is Intensive Reading?

When you are an 11th or 12th grader, Intensive Reading provides support for helping you pass FCAT and/or FSA. It also prepares you for the reading portions of ACT and SAT. The class helps build your reading skills so that you can understand anything you will are given to read in college and real-life.

Who is My Teacher?

Mrs. Lipsky

Mrs. Lipsky has been teaching for over 30 years. She has taught English and Reading to the Buc Nation at First Coast High since 2003. She has a degree in English Education from Florida State University (Go NOLES!), she has a Florida Reading Endorsement, and she has a Master's degree in Teaching.

Mrs. Lipsky is married and has a dog named Dixie and a cat named Kit. She loves traveling, camping, riding bikes, playing at the beach, and READING!
