Christ Child Academy Newsletter
August 22, 2019
From the Desk of Mr. Ruedinger
Dear Christ Child Academy Families,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer. I also hope you are relaxed, recharged and ready to start a new school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). It is incredible the time and effort that teachers put forth during the summer, both inside the classroom and at home, to provide the high-quality education for your children. Thanks to Mr. Joe Parra and the summer crew, the facilities have been cleaned and upgraded and are looking great. We are indeed a joyous and caring community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning.
Each year brings positive change. This includes additions to our staff. We are delighted to welcome several new teachers and staff who will blend well with our current talented, passionate, and caring CCA family.
The gym floor was buffed and re-coated this summer and looks great. The lights in the gym were all replaced with LED lighting which will turn on quicker, be brighter, and save money for years to come.
The Extended Day Program facility was also remodeled. A wall was removed to create a larger learning area with fresh paint and new carpeting. Security cameras were also added which enhance the safety of the children which are tied into our school's office. The backyard fence has been re-erected to also enhance safe play. Please stop over during the Come and Go to check it out!
Thank you to all who are helping prepare for the new school year. Your commitment to Christ Child Academy is to be commended. I eagerly look forward to greeting students and families again. It remains an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. Please stop by and say hello. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.
We look forward to seeing all families at the Welcome Back "Come & Go" on Wednesday, August 28th from 4:00-6:00 pm. Plan on visiting your classrooms and teachers, drop off supplies, and then join us on the playground for our annual cookout.
