Greetings Suffolk Public Schools Stakeholder,

In accordance with the Virginia Dept. Of Education's guidance and requirements, each school division is required to gather input/feedback on their current American Rescue Plan ESSER Spending Plan (ESSER/CARES III) from multiple stakeholders and provide this feedback to VDOE by December 31, 2022. Your input is requested using the form linked below. The division's current spending plan for our ESSER III funds is attached below or you can find it on the following website. The survey window closes on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Spending of the funds should be focused on addressing unfinished learning, implementing prevention and mitigation strategies for the safe re-opening of schools for in-person learning, as well as addressing our students' academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Suffolk Public Schools LEA ARP ESSER Spending Plan Survey- December 2022

Course scheduling for the 2023-2024 school year will open on starting December 19 and will close January 2. We ask that families use the links below to understand the course selection process. We also ask that families review the Program of Studies to determine course prerequisites that align with the class selections for the 2023-2024 school year.

To promote the safety within our school, clear backpacks will be available to NRHS students on Monday, December 19, during each lunch. Will be at no cost to students.
