Veteran's Day Program
The elementary PBL group is currently planning a Veteran's Day program for Wednesday, November 11th. The public can participate over Facebook Live. The program will be lead by the students in the PBL group.
Giving Thanks
Keeping with tradition during this unique time, USD 225 will be serving our traditional Thanksgiving meal, to students only this year, on November 24. Thanksgiving break will be November 25-26. All of us at USD 225 are very thankful for each student, family and community member, and we wish you and yours a very safe, healthy, and happy Thanksgiving.

Washington DC Trip Update
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the district has made the hard decision to cancel the Washington DC trip. Students that signed up for the trip will still receive their trip sweatshirt, and a refund will be issued for personal contributions (deposit) made to the student's account. Fundraising funds are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued by December 1, 2020. Information on the use of purchased airline tickets will be forthcoming.
Cross Country
The Fowler Cross Country team has been extremely competitive this year with Elijah Zortman, 11th grade, and Alex Zortman, 8th grade, consistently placing at their meets throughout the season. A special congratulations goes out to Elijah for taking 1st at the Coldwater meet and for placing 8th at the state meet in Victoria, KS on October 31st with a personal record time of 17:09!
High School Volleyball
The JV volleyball team, including Abby Zortman and Shaylin Garcia, completed their season with a record of 23-3!
High School Football
The Goldbugs demonstrated grit and determination this season by giving every opponent tough competition. They wrapped up a season to be proud of with a win at home over Deerfield, ending the game up by 45 points at halftime.
Junior High Volleyball
The junior high volleyball team ended their season with a pancake party in honor of a favorite drill called "Pancake." The A team finished 5-7 and the B team finished 6-1.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
National Honor Society members Charlie Littlewood and Jahim Ross assisted the Red Cross with Fowler's fall blood drive as a community service project.

Language Arts Projects
7th graders completed their first English project for the year that included a compare/contrast essay, literature circle, and the " " pictured below.
6th graders completed their first English project over poetry by creating a portfolio of their own original poems and performing them for the class.

Wildly Important Goal Celebration
K-5 students met their Wildly Important Goal for the first quarter by having more than 80% of students pass a level in Rocket Math each week. The Leadership Council planned a glow stick dance party as the school-wide celebration.
Principal's Ice Cream Party
Students who read an average of 20 minutes on 4 nights per week enjoyed an ice cream party at the end of the first quarter.
