This past week our high school students took the PSAT. The test was long and challenging. Results will be sent to us the end of December.
Filmmaker Israel Dayan spent the afternoon with our Environmental Science class teaching them new techniques to help them with their Public Service Announcement short video.
Next week Dickinson College will be visiting our school.

Middle School Community Service
Kai, Adam, Domingo and Nikko spent some time making generic birthday cards for children who live in homeless shelters.
Environmental Biology Class Creates A Public Service Announcement
Mr. Israel Dyan, internationally known for his claymation and film making techniques, came to teach the technical film making skills to our Environmental Biolology class. Students are creating their own PSA teaching others about the environment.

Homework Corner
All students are required to have a set of headphones or ear buds in school every day.
All students are expected to have access to Netflix at home.
Environmental Biology - Students are required to watch Erin Brochovich. This movie can be viewed via the link below or via iTunes for $3.99 and can be watched on any smart phone or tablet. A graded assignment will be affiliated with this video.
Environmental Biology - All students were required to bring in a water sample for testing. If you have not done so by now, you may still bring in your sample for partial credit.
High School English class needs to read to the end of Part 4 of Invention of Wings by .Monday
Physics of Superheroes - Watch The Amazing Spiderman 2. Needs to be viewed by Nov 1.
