LWJES will celebrate a winter spirit week the week of December 14th! Everyone is invited to participate if they like!
- Monday (12/14) - Holiday Colors Day
- Tuesday (12/15) - Holiday Sweaters or Shirts
- Wednesday (12/16) - Holiday Headwear or Holiday Hairstyles
- Thursday (12/17) - Crazy Sock Day
- Friday (12/18) - Pajama Day (please be sure pajamas are school appropriate)
Join PTA for an evening of read alouds on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. Get cozy in your pajamas, get a cup of hot chocolate, and join PTA to listen to some great stories! Go to the school website to watch the live stream! LWJES.VEGAS
Classrooms will have a winter break celebration on December 18, 2020, at the end of the day (AM/PM Pre-K will have their party on December 17, 2020). Please refer to additional information from your child’s teacher for information about this celebration.
If you do not wish for your child to participate in the celebration, please notify your child's teacher as soon as possible as the school will provide an alternate activity at your request.
The yearly Clark County District Parent/Guardian survey is available now through December 18, 2020. Every family is invited to complete this survey! The survey is available at ccsd.net/survey and selecting DISTRICTWIDE PARENT/GUARDIAN SURVEY from the options listed. The survey will take some time to complete as there are numerous questions for consideration. Your feedback is appreciated!
There is another way to support the LWJES PTA by checking out the PTA store on Memberhub! You can purchase gift cards for holiday gifts and PTA will get a percentage of your purchase! Happy shopping and don't forget to join PTA at the same time! There is also a spot to make a donation to the PTA at our school in lieu of or in addition to participating in monthly fundraising restaurant activities.

The CCSD Food Service distribution site at LWJES will be closed for winter break.
Limited distribution services will be available during winter break. On these days, three (3) breakfast meals and three (3) lunch meals will be distributed.

The Family and Community Engagement Services (FACES) department has created a collection of videos to assist families with using Clever, Canvas, Google, and Infinite Campus. The videos range from information about getting started with something to tips for using programs. Most videos are available in English and Spanish.
