What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?
Thinking about what you want to do when you grow up, and planning to get there, can seem a bit daunting when you are still in elementary school. But it is never to early to start the process. Sixth graders at WES are using Google Classroom to build their career portfolios. This is a great format for this project and the project gives our students life skills that are invaluable.
Topping Off a Great Effort
Readers at WES enjoyed Pizza with the Principal as recognition of their outstanding effort. These students met predetermined goals that have been set throughout the year. Pizza is always a hit and the perfect topping for a great effort!

Chameleons Know Walruses!
How much do you know about walruses and could you write about it? Students in Ms. Peed's Chameleon class can teach you a thing or two. They are working on their informational writing using the walrus as their topic.
