Symptoms
difficulty falling asleep, including difficulty finding a comfortable sleeping position.
waking during the night and not being able to go back to sleep
feeling unrefreshed upon waking
- daytime sleepiness,irritability, or anxiety.
Common Effects
Common in ages over 60
causes stress
can cause cat naps throughout the day
- can be caused from a sort of drug in the system
- Women are up to twice as likely to suffer from insomnia than men.

Statistics

- Approximately 35% of insomniacs have a family history of insomnia.
- 90% of people who suffer depression also experience insomnia.
