Message from the Stake Presidency
Brothers and Sisters:
The Saturday evening session of stake conference will be held on Saturday, February 27th at the Stake Center from 7:00-8:30pm with dessert and fellowship to follow. We personally invite all members 18 and over to be in attendance.
In recent Saturday evening sessions we stressed the 5 W's of ministering to others. In this meeting we will be talking about YOU. How to lift and strengthen yourself and the members of your family. We will be discussing what you can do to be closer to your Heavenly Father and what you can do to help strengthen your family.
We also invite all Priesthood Leaders 18 and over to attend a special Priesthood Leadership Training this same evening starting at 5:30pm.
We recognize that it can be a struggle for the parents of young families to attend evening meetings without their children. We encourage you to begin now to make arrangements so that you will be able to attend these meetings.
The Sunday session of conference is for all members and will be broadcast from the Chambersburg Stake Center to the Carlisle, Fairview, and New Oxford buildings. We have purchased updated equipment to ensure the broadcast is of the highest possible quality.
It is our prayer that every member of our stake will join us Saturday evening and again Sunday for an uplifting and inspiring weekend.
