Principal's Message:
Hello Tulalip Community,
It has been such an amazing week for students who were able to join us. As you may have seen on Facebook, Tulalip TV posted that we had a group of students support Tulalip Natural Resources to do tree planting/wet land restoration. On Thursday a solid group went to Everett Community College to the Students Of Color Conference. Lastly, Farmer Frog came to campus to start conversations about creating a community garden. Growing community, connecting with nature, and seeking liberation! It's been a great week.
We also had one of our Seniors Devyn Johnson receive a $500 scholarship to support college and beyond! We are so excited for that celebration.
As we move into next week, partners from Google: STEM Robotics (The same group hosting the April 1st and 2nd Google STEM Robotics event at the Don Hatch Youth Center) are coming to provide Heritage students with some in-depth learning on March 27th. On March 28th we hope that you will join us in the Heritage Gym for our community listening event. There will be food, community, and raffle prizes.
Friday March 31st will be a half day and will mark the beginning of our Spring Break. We hope you enjoy the news letter and are always open to feedback on how we can communicate more effectively.
