Alicia Bakir
Mrs. Alicia Bakir saved the life of a student on her bus back in May 2021. The student had a seizure, and Mrs. Bakir pulled the bus over, called 911, and kept the student safe until the paramedics arrived. She was presented with an award recognizing her life-saving service and is pictured here with the CISD Team of 8.
Jo Cothran
Mrs. Cothran was recognized for her service and presented with a framed letter from the FBI. She is pictured here with the CISD Team of 8.

Both the amount of money granted and the number of grant recipients set records for the Foundation.

Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction
Mr. Ladd graduated locally from Sulphur Springs High School, then attended Texas A&M-Commerce for his bachelors degree. He acquired his Masters from Concordia, and completed his Superintendent Prep Program at Lamar University.
Mr. Ladd is pictured with his wife and two children, and with the CISD Team of 8.
