Police Officers on Campus
Officer Rena is one of several police officers who have joined the CTK family. Our school is blessed to have officers on campus to help keep our students and faculty safe. Officer Rena enjoys lunching with the students, even if it means spending most of her lunchtime opening drinks and snacks. :)
Hand-Eye Coordination in P.E.
Students work on their hand-eye coordination in P.E. class by playing Spike Ball.
Kindergartners joined in on the fun too!
6th Grade Safety Patrol
Our CTK Safety Patrol members are doing an awesome job this year! They arrive early to school to help unload students at morning drop-off. They are also in charge of raising, lowering, and taking care of the flags.

8th Grade Sweatshirts Have Arrived
Despite the warm temperatures 8th graders have donned their special 8th grade sweatshirts and they aren't planning to take them off until they graduate! The 8th grade sweatshirt lists every student in the graduating class and the graduation year on the sleeve. It is a long-standing tradition and a privilege to wear this sweatshirt at CTK.
Celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day
One of the many fun traditions in 1st grade is the Johnny Appleseed relay races! Students learned about Johnny Appleseed and apples, including charting which types of apples their classmates did and didn’t like.
Students Serve Mass with Bishop Taylor
Most students slept in last Friday when they were out of school, but a few had the privilege of serving mass with Bishop Taylor at the state-wide Catholic Schools' Professional Day.

Fifth grade students broke out the Science STEM Bins, one of their favorite activities. They used science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to practice the design process.

Sixth graders learned about the culture of the Stone Age by working in groups to create storyboards and presenting them to their class. According to them, it has been one of their favorite projects!
MSM Visits with Jr. High Girls
We spotted some CTK alumni on our campus today! Four of our CTK graduates visited with 7th and 8th girls about what it means to be a “Mount Girl”. Our students were eager to hear about Mt. St. Mary Academy and all that it has to offer.
Over $36,000 Raised for CTK School
CTK students, teachers, parents, grandparents and supporters have helped raise over $36,000 so far! Funds raised go directly to technology, like Chromebooks and Mimeo interactive whiteboards, and to playground upgrades, like fall zone mulch and fence screens.
