Child Safety Matters Parent Informational Meeting
Spring Forward on March 10, 2019
At 2:00 on Sunday morning, March 10, all clocks will be moved forward one hour for Daylight Saving Time. So, please mark your calendars and before you head off to bed Saturday evening, move your clocks forward one hour. It means less sleep for one night, but you will be on time Sunday and for the days that lie ahead.

Snapology STEM night @ DCMS
Enjoy a night of STEM challenges and learn about the robotics programs at Danville. There will be Lego challenges provided by Snapology, drive remote control VexIQ robots used by Danville Middle School students, and see the latest robot built by Danville high school students. The event will be held at the Danville Middle School cafeteria, enter through Door 10. Entrance fee is $5 per child 4 and up. Parents are free. Proceeds go toward the Danville Robotics programs.
4th Grade Music Program
Positive Male Role Models Needed!
We NEED you! On Thursday, March 21, 2019 Sheltering Wings and Men IN Action will enlist 440+ male volunteers to go into each Hendricks County elementary school classroom to read a book that focuses on important character traits such as support, positive identity, positive peer influence and commitment to learning. The goals of this event are to teach and prompt conversations with children about important character values, engage in a volunteer opportunity and show our community that we are a community that stands for healthy values and relationships. This is a great opportunity to have a positive influence on our youth and lead with intention.

Community Information
Danville Girls Softball Association registration for spring is now open. Girls ages 4 to 18 are eligible to play. Practices will start the first of April and games will run from approximately the end of April until the first of June. Visit danvillesoftball.org for more information and to sign up.
Pee Wee Baseball
Registration for the Danville Pee Wee Baseball League season is open through the end of February. Information about the league can be found at www.danvillepeewee.com. Questions not answered on their site can be directed to Brent Pope at 317-491-5899

Session 3 will be run by Danville’s current 7th & 8th grade coaches Terry Hammons and Nick Scott. If you are planning on going out for the school team this year you are strongly encouraged to attend. This camp will be a mini-camp into the season !!!
