VOLUNTEERS

We’re excited to welcome volunteers back to our schools. Vaccinated volunteers or those who can produce a current negative COVID-19 test may volunteer for positions requested by our school sites. As a reminder, we offer testing Wednesdays at the District Office. Here is how it works:

  1. Volunteers may access the online form here: Cambrian School District Volunteer Vaccination Certification

  2. Volunteer completes the form and attaches vaccination record/card if applicable

  3. Volunteer submits the completed form to the school site/principal from a drop-down menu (if you do not have a specific site, please select ‘any’). The drop-down menu appears in the form once the volunteer is ready to submit

  4. School site/principal signs and completes the form

  5. School site/district reviews completed form and confirms with volunteer

  6. Unvaccinated volunteers: If you take a COVID test at the District Office during our regular Wednesday testing events, we will be able to pull up your results. If you test elsewhere, please bring your negative test result with you on the day you volunteer.

Art Vista Coordinator Needed

After over 25 years, our dedicated Art Vista Coordinator, Cindy Janssen, has decided to retire. Her time and dedication to keeping our Art Vista Program alive and growing all these years was greatly appreciated and she will be sorely missed.

To keep this program on-going next year we need a new Art Vista Coordinator. This paid position involves organizing the art supplies needed for each weekly art lesson, training the classroom parent docents and setting up the art calendar. Cindy will be available to train and help anyone interested in the position and can be reached through the email below to discuss the program and get further information. fammatreartvistas@comcast.net

Absence, Truant & Tardy Letters

Please be aware that many attendance letters will be going out to families this week in the mail. These letters are sent to inform parents of how many days their child(ren) have been absent or tardy during the school year and are mandated by the State of California.

After 3 absences or tardies a first notification is mailed. If more tardies or absences continue the following month a second letter is sent. A final letter may result in setting up a conference with the principal.
