How Do People Survive In Space?
Answering the Impossible...
Space Suits!
These special suits are specifically used to survive in the infinite space.
They provide oxygen, temperature control, and protection from radiation and small asteroids.
What Is It Made Of?
The modern space suit is composed of 14 different layers of material which all contribute in their own way to the survival of the astronaut.
How Do They Work?
Below are parts of the suit and what they do to help you through the expanding space that seems to never end...
Astronaut's Helmet
They protect you from micrometeorites, solar ultraviolet as well as infrared radiation, and dangerously low pressure in outer space.
Astronaut's Gloves
The inner layer of the glove protects from space's temperature extremes that range from -180 to 235 degrees F.
The outer layer provides physical protection plus the gloves become pumped up to provide even more protection. (Though it does make it more trickier to handle items)
Astronaut's Backpack
It provides you plenty of oxygen, electricity, (So that a fan can move the oxygen through the spacesuit) and a water tank to hold your cooling water.
The Difficulties And Problems
Problems Consists Of : Leaks, tears, malfunctions, floating away at any given moment if you make a single mistake, etc.
Some Difficulties Include : Slow movement, dehydration, starvation, etc.
