Author Visit

We have some exciting news! Best selling author Neal Shusterman will be coming to Stafford Monday, February 10th. His new book, Tesla's Attic, cowritten by Eric Elfman, is coming out and Frisco is going to be his launch location. Want a signed copy of Tesla's Attic before it even comes out. Here is a link for the form to bring Mrs. Lassley. (Pre-order form) I also have some forms in the library.

Due to the number of students at Stafford, we are having to change how we will do this author visit. Students who buy the book will be able to be in the "live audience" in the library. Everyone else will be watching the broadcast from their classrooms.

We are so excited and honored that these amazing authors are coming to Frisco!!!

Here is a video about Neal Shusterman. (He is visiting Stafford on February 10th.)

Book Fair Crew

It is time for the next book fair, which means we are looking for our next book fair crew. We had a lot of fun last semester. With the theme of a Book Fair Fiesta this time, it is bound to be a blast!

If your child is interested in being a part of the crew this semester, please have them fill out the online portion and then bring in the paper portion. They have to complete both forms to be considered! Both application are due Friday, January 24th. Here is the link to the form...Book Fair Crew Application

Lost Books

We are at the time of year were books are starting to be considered lost. I consider a book lost after it has been overdue for 3 months.

Overdue slips will be going out to students again after the science fair. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email me anytime.

If your child falls into this category, I will be sending out emails soon with information about the book, how much, and ways to pay for it.
