Catherine's Bucket List

Swimming With the Dolphins
I would go swimming with the dolphins at Orlando, Florida (cocoa beach). I would go with 3 of my friends and all my immediate family. An example of weathering there would be the water hitting rocks at the shore line and braking the rocks in to smaller pieces. That is mechanical weathering. An example of erosion there would be the water picking up pieces of the shore line and moving them somewhere else.
Inokashira Park
I want to go to Inokashira park at Tokyo, Japan. I would rent and ride a boat in the pond shone above. I would go by plane with nobody. An example of weathering there would be the water hitting rocks at the shore line and braking the rocks in to smaller pieces. That is mechanical weathering. An example of erosion there would be the water picking up pieces of the shore line and moving them somewhere else. The Inokashira park is dedicated to the vengeful goddess Benzaitan (Picture shown below). It is said that she was jealous of human couples that she cursed the pond so that any couple that sails in the water is destined to break up.
Yosemite Valley, California
I would like to go kayaking at Yosemite Valley, California. I would go with my grandma because she knows how to kayak. An example of weathering there would be the rocks falling and hitting other rocks and breaking then down. An example of erosion there would be the water picking up pieces of the shore line and moving them somewhere else.

Great Wall of China
I would like to see the Great Wall or China. I would go with 3 of my friends and all my immediate family. An example of weathering there would be the wind breaking the rocks (on the great wall). An example of erosion there would be the wind carrying the rocks away.
Grand Canyon
I would like to see the Grand Canyon at Arizona. I would go with 3 friends. An example of weathering there would be the water hitting rocks and braking the rocks in to smaller pieces. That is mechanical weathering. An example of erosion there would be the water picking up pieces and moving them somewhere else.
