CHROMEBOOK EXPECTATIONS
There are several issues regarding Chromebooks that students and parents need to remember:
- No stickers or markings of any kind are to be put on the Chromebook.
- If you drop the Chromebook, the screen will likely be damaged; it costs $75.
- If you drop the Chromebook and the case chips, it invalidates the warranty and will result in fines.
- If you lose the Chromebook, you are responsible to replace it at the district’s cost ($185).
- If you lose the case, you will be fined $15 to replace it.
- If you lose the charger, you will be fined $25 to replace it.
- If you are having any difficulty with your Chromebook, bring it to the library so we can determine what is wrong with it.
- Bear in mind that the Chromebook is district property, not yours. If you damage it or lose it, you must pay for its repair or replacement.
